I am a proud supporter of interracial relations. Use your imagination with this piece. All of the opposites, fit so perfectly together. For the father of my first children. Rest in peace baby Taylor.

This an amazing piece of photography with a very original idea on the concept of race in today's modern world. I give 4 stars for two reasons on the vision of the piece. 1st as already noted the photo loses a bit of its power because of the fuzziness of the photo unless that was the intent. 2nd while the stapling of the apples to together to present beauty of humanity it looses just a bit with it. Due to the fact the some may think of a more horror/zombie etal feeling. Myself,I would have used coloured string, twine or something similar. However, that is just me!!! Again, fab photo & happy to place it my favourites gallery.
I love this. I love the idea, I love the concept, and I love the meaning it holds.
I have never come across an interracial work as original and well-thought through as this one is. The idea for a Red Apple and a Granny Smith apple to come together is very clever. Like race, sometimes people choose one type of apple over the other as better, but, also like race, they can be equal, they can both be pleasant and, if you put them together they taste better than they could have separate.
I like the clean cut of the apples and their perfect roundness. I also like the fact that they are still imperfect. The red one with it's brown streaks makes this piece more realistic in that no one is perfect, yet they can still make things work out. The staples are another very nice touch. They are hard and not aligned perfectly, which can symbolize how crossing the barriers of racism is not easy.
The only reason I give 4 stars for vision is that I would have loved for the photo to have been more clear and less fuzzy. I bet that if this picture was more crisp in it's appearance it would look much better.
But, besides that I find nothing else that needs to be worked on.

Cheers!
